Children under 2 years old
- Children are special passengers, so before boarding, parents need to prepare some documents to check in at the airport. For children under two years old, an original birth certificate or an exact copy is required.
- When you buy air tickets for children under two years old, parents need to provide a full name and date of birth in the solar calendar. If the return flight, your child is full or older than 02 years old, the airline will enforce the air ticket according to regulation.
Children under 12 years old
- Children under 12 years old traveling by plane need to bring their flight ticket and birth certificate or a notarized copy of their birth certificate. The prices for children from full 02 years old to 12 years old are calculated at 75% of adult fare. The age of the child is calculated by the airlines according to the flight departure date.
- Children can be accompanied by adults over 18 years old without their parents, only need a letter of authorization from their parents or bring the family relationship certification.
Children of foreign nationality
- For children with foreign nationality, it is necessary to bring a passport, travel document, visa, and temporary or permanent residence card.
- In case the child loses his/her passport, a confirmation letter from the local authority where you have lost your passport, and a note from the consulate where the child is a citizen is required.
